ReadyLedger LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Ready Ledger Contractor mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read it carefully.

Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Name / Company name: Identify your organization and crew within the app
- Email address: Authentication (Google Sign-In or email/password); account communications
- Phone number: Stored as part of client and job site contact records you enter
- Client and job site details: Core business records (names, addresses, contact info)
- Work session notes: Optional notes you attach to clock-in/clock-out records
- Invoice and expense data: Financial records you create within the app (rates, amounts, descriptions)
- Photos: Job site images you capture or upload within the app
Information Collected Automatically
- Precise GPS location: Geofence monitoring — automatically detects when you arrive at or depart from a job site to clock you in and out
- Background location: Location is monitored while the app is backgrounded so geofence events are not missed
- Firebase UID: Internal identifier linking your data to your account
- Purchase tokens: Confirms and validates your subscription through Google Play
Information from Third Parties
- Google Sign-In: We receive your Google account email address when you authenticate with Google
- Google Play Billing: We receive a purchase token confirming your subscription status. We do not receive or store your payment card details
How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
- Provide and operate the App — authenticate you, sync your business records across devices, process your subscription
- Enable geofence-based time tracking — use your location to automatically clock you in and out at job sites you have configured
- Store and retrieve your business records — clients, job sites, work sessions, invoices, expenses, and photos
- Communicate with you — respond to support requests and send account-related notifications
We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it for any purpose beyond operating this App.
Location Data
The App requests access to your device's precise location and background location. This data is used exclusively to power the geofencing feature:
- When you set up a job site with a defined boundary, the App monitors your GPS position to detect when you enter or leave that boundary
- This triggers automatic clock-in and clock-out events, which are recorded as work sessions
- Location events are processed to determine entry/exit and stored as timestamps in your work records. Raw GPS coordinates associated with a job site are stored as part of that job site record
We do not track your location continuously or outside of geofence events. Location data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose other than the geofencing feature described above.
You may revoke location permissions at any time in your device settings. Doing so will disable the automatic geofencing feature; you can still clock in and out manually.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
Google Firebase / Firestore
All app data — cloud storage and sync; data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Google Authentication
Email address — user sign-in and identity verification.
Google Play Billing
Purchase tokens — subscription verification.
Google Maps Platform
Job site address queries — address autocomplete when adding job sites.
Legal authorities
As required — compliance with valid legal process, court orders, or government requests.
Business successors
As disclosed — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
All third-party service providers listed above are bound by their own privacy policies and by contractual terms limiting use of your data.
Data Storage and Security
All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). Data stored in Firebase Firestore is encrypted at rest by Google. We implement reasonable organizational and technical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:
- Your Firebase Authentication user record is permanently deleted
- All data in your organization's Firestore collection (job sites, clients, work sessions, invoices, expenses, photos, billing records) is permanently deleted
- Your locally cached Room database on the device is cleared
We do not retain copies of deleted account data except as may be required by applicable law (e.g., fraud prevention, legal compliance).
How to Delete Your Account
In-app: Account screen → Danger Zone → Delete Account → Confirm.
Outside the app: Visit our account deletion page to submit a deletion request, or email support@readyledgerllc.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and the email address associated with your account.
We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Permissions
The app may request the following permissions, which you can grant or deny:
- Camera: To capture job site photos and scan receipts
- Photo Library: To upload photos and documents
- Precise Location: To enable geofence-based automatic clock-in/clock-out at job sites
- Background Location: To detect geofence entry/exit while the app is backgrounded
- Notifications: To send reminders and alerts
All permissions are optional, and the app will function with limited features if permissions are denied.
Children's Privacy
This App is intended for use by contractors and business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
In-App Purchases
All subscription purchases and payment processing are handled entirely by Google through the Google Play Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information. Subscription management, including cancellation and renewal, is handled through your Google Play account.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request that inaccurate data be corrected
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Restriction: Request that we limit processing of your data in certain circumstances
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection: Object to certain processing, including for legitimate interests

California Privacy Rights
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
