Ready Ledger ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Ready Ledger. This policy is part of, and subject to, our Terms of Service. By using the app, you agree to both this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

Ready Ledger does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers. All data you enter into the app is stored locally on your device and, if you choose to enable iCloud sync, in your personal iCloud account managed by Apple.

The app allows you to store the following types of information locally on your device:

• Career Information: Job applications, employment records, skills, certifications, courses, achievements, and network contacts
• Financial Information: Bills, payments, bank account balances, transactions, receipts, and expense records
• Personal Content: Notes, journal entries, mood tracker entries, voice memos, photos, and documents you choose to attach
• Schedule Information: Interviews, reminders, and calendar events
• Profile Information: Your name, contact information, and profile photo (if provided)

Your information is used solely for app functionality:

• To display your career, financial, and personal tracking data within the app
• To sync your data across your devices via iCloud (if enabled)
• To provide reminders and notifications you configure
• To generate reports and analytics within the app
• To index your data for on-device search via Spotlight (no data leaves your device)
• To provide motivational notifications and progress tracking within the app
• To enable Handoff and Continuity features across your Apple devices
• To display widgets and live activities on your home screen and lock screen
• To execute Siri commands and Shortcuts automations you configure

Ready Ledger does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app uses only Apple's native frameworks:

• iCloud for optional data sync
• StoreKit for in-app subscriptions
• Apple Calendar, Reminders, Notes, and Contacts (with your permission)
• VisionKit for receipt scanning
• Speech Recognition for voice memo transcription (on-device when possible)
• Core Location for location-based reminders (optional)
• Core Spotlight for on-device search indexing
• Handoff/Continuity for seamless device transitions
• SiriKit and Shortcuts for voice commands and automation
• WidgetKit for home screen widgets
• Live Activities for real-time updates
• Files app integration for document access

The app may request the following permissions, which you can grant or deny:

• Camera: To scan receipts for expense tracking
• Photo Library: To attach photos and documents
• Microphone: To record voice memos
• Speech Recognition: To transcribe voice memos to text (on-device processing when possible)
• Location Services: To enable location-based reminders for bills and interviews (optional)
• Calendar: To sync interview dates and job events
• Reminders: To create task reminders
• Contacts: To link network contacts with your address book
• Face ID/Touch ID: For secure app access (optional)
• Notifications: To send reminders and alerts
• Files Access: To save and access documents through the Files app
• Siri & Shortcuts: To create voice commands and automation workflows

All permissions are optional, and the app will function with limited features if permissions are denied.

You have complete control over your data:

• All data can be deleted directly within the app
• Deleting the app removes all local data from your device
• iCloud data can be deleted through your iCloud settings
• We do not retain any copies of your data

Ready Ledger is suitable for users of all ages. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data externally, does not facilitate financial transactions, and does not display any user-generated or third-party content. All data remains entirely on the user's device (or in their personal iCloud account if enabled), making it a safe environment for younger users to practice financial literacy, goal setting, and personal organization under parental guidance.

Ready Ledger is free to download and includes a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial period, a monthly or yearly subscription is required to continue using the app. All subscription purchases and payment processing are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information. Subscription management, including cancellation and renewal, is handled through your Apple ID account. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app and on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Changes to our Terms of Service are governed separately and described in Section 18 of that document.

Since all data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account, you have complete control over your information:

• Access: View all your data within the app
• Correction: Edit any information directly in the app
• Deletion: Delete any or all data at any time
• Export: Export your data in various formats (PDF, CSV)

Please note that exported PDF and CSV files are not encrypted. For important security guidance on handling exported data, see Section 7 of our Terms of Service.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). However, since Ready Ledger does not collect or sell personal information, these rights are not applicable. All your data remains under your control on your device.
